Please note that this is for informational purposes. When booking, there will be 'relaxation' or 'remedial' options. All techniques listed below are considered remedial techniques. What techniques and how they are used during that session will be discussed during the consultation depending on your specific needs, health conditions, and sensory preferences.

Deep Tissue Massage

If you have chronic tension that seems to be buried deep in your muscles, then deep tissue massage might be the therapy you need. This type of massage uses slow strokes and direct pressure to target the muscles located far below the body's surface. Although some of the same strokes are used as in classic massage, the movements are slower and the pressure is deeper, with a focus on the areas of tension and pain.

Trigger Point Therapy

A "myofascial trigger point" is a hypersensitive nodule that can cause pain throughout the body. Trigger point therapy is a soft tissue technique that aims to alleviate painful tension in muscles and fascia, often felt as knots in the muscle. This is achieved by applying pressure to trigger points, until the pain is reduced or removed.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release therapy is a gentle massage technique that aims to alleviate pain and tightness across the myofascial tissues. By employing stretching and lengthening techniques, the therapy focuses on releasing tension in the fascial tissues. MFR therapy is designed to alleviate muscular tightness and shortness, providing relief from pain.

Swedish Relaxation Massage

Swedish massage is one of the most popular types of massage therapy. Its primary goal is to reduce stress, alleviate pain, and promote relaxation. This massage technique involves rubbing, kneading, stroking, and tapping of the muscles for an overall calming effect.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

MLD is a gentle massage that stretches the skin and promotes the flow of lymphatic fluid. The aim of MLD is to support rhythmic contractions and stimulate the lymph nodes to enhance their function for redirecting stagnant lymphatic fluid.

Sports Massage

Is using any massage techniques, applied with the intention of promoting sporting ability and recovery.
